Head of Aftermarket

This exciting role presents a fantastic opportunity to the right candidate seeking the next challenge in their career by to significantly grow and develop our Aftermarket capability to provide world class support for our customers in the UK municipal water sector.
Reporting to the Managing Director, the Head of Aftermarket owns the end-to-end aftermarket customer experience and leads the service, spares, retrofits, upgrades and hire activities to deliver safe, right-first-time outcomes with clear communication and minimal friction.
They will provide effective, visible and inspirational leadership and be accountable for the Aftermarket capability of the business.
What you'll be doing:
You will create, lead and execute the Eliquo Hydrok Aftermarket Strategy that enables sustainable business growth.
You will own and deliver the full end to end Aftermarket process for our customers from business development and sales through to execution of customer orders and any on-going obligations.
As a champion of health, safety and continuous improvement you will ensure that all outputs from Aftermarket meet the specified HSEQ (Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality) requirements, are on time and in full.
In this role you will own the Aftermarket VoC (Voice of the Customer) programme, ensuring customer insight is captured, translated into improvement actions, and used to strengthen the customer experience.
As leader of our Aftermarket capability, you will be accountable for inspiring and developing a high-performing team.
Who we are looking for:
Essential requirements for the role include:
Extensive experience delivering customer service and support to high standards of safety and quality.
Experience working within regulated environments inside or outside of the UK municipal water sector.
Previous experience in a leadership role, leading similar outcomes and teams including coaching, developing and recruiting.
Fluency in English is essential
Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels.
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail, ensuring effective management of multiple priorities.
Desirable requirements for the role include:
A bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a relevant engineering subject along with relevant professional qualifications for the role.
Previous experience working for an OEM of products and services.
Previous experience leading an Aftermarket function for an OEM business.
Previous experience of similar products to those supplied by Eliquo Hydrok.
Previous experience working with CRM systems.
A strong understanding of the regulations, standards and requirements of the municipal water sector in the UK&I.
Additional Information:
The role holder must be capable of working effectively in a variety of locations and ideally be based within 40 miles of one of our UK locations (Wombwell, Wolverhampton or Indian Queens). Regular time will need to be spent at our HQ in Indian Queens, Cornwall (approximately 20-30% of your time). We will also expect regular time to be spent at all three of our UK locations.
Hybrid working is expected to be possible with the assumption that one to two days per week could be home based.
