This is the most senior engineering role within the business, offering the opportunity to define and deliver our engineering strategy, strengthen technical capability, and provide inspirational leadership across the organisation.

The Role

As Chief Engineer, you will:

• Provide visible and inspiring leadership as a key member of the Leadership Team.

• Define and execute the Engineering strategy to support sustainable growth, operational excellence and customer confidence.

• Ensure effective engineering governance, planning, resource management and performance across the business.

• Champion the highest standards of health, safety, quality, and environmental performance.

• Lead, develop, and empower high-performing engineering teams across multiple locations.

• Drive innovation, continuous improvement, and technical excellence throughout the organisation.

About You

You will be an experienced senior engineering leader with a strong track record of delivering results, ideally within the water, utilities, infrastructure, or related sectors; but we are open to looking at exceptional candidates from other backgrounds that may have transferable skills to our business. You will be equally comfortable in setting strategy and leading people; you will bring commercial awareness, technical credibility and a passion for developing teams and building organisational capability.
